I believe in lovable characters, endearing illustrations, and lasting impressions.

A Snapshot of Me

At my core, I’m an educator who never outgrew the wonder years. I love coaxing out the spark of childlike joy in people—sometimes with curiosity, sometimes with kindness, and often with a perfectly timed bad joke. I’m endlessly empathetic, a champion of authenticity, and the kind of person who somehow befriends every barista in a five‑mile radius. Give me a good story, and I’ll light up; storytelling is the compass I follow, the thread I tug on, and the heartbeat of who I am.

My Writing Journey

People have always told me I have a knack for storytelling—even though I never trained for it in any official, certificate‑bearing way. For years, I let those stories spill out through my art (I’m rarely happier than when I’m painting). But now, I’m stepping into new, uncharted territory, choosing to pursue storytelling on purpose, out loud, and with both feet in.

To my delight, the stories haven’t been shy—they’re bubbling up faster than I can catch them. And honestly? I can’t wait to share them with you.

A Few Personal Details

I’ve been happily married to my soulmate, Tim, for fifteen wonderful years—a partnership built on laughter, shared adventures, and an impressive number of inside jokes. We don’t have human kids, but we do have the world’s most exceptional cat daughter, who is convinced she runs the household (and honestly, she might).

I’m a Midwesterner through and through, fond of long e-bike rides and small‑town charm. Winter and I have a complicated relationship, but I am the proud, self‑appointed founding member of a groundhog fan club—should such a club ever officially exist.
